Front Door consists of two individuals, David Simon and Steve Cuppy, who are agents with Wainwright & Co. Wainwright & Co. is one of the most respected real estate firms at Smith Mountain Lake and David and Steve are highly experienced business people who through their passion for Smith Mountain Lake have decided to dedicate their careers to assisting others with conducting the most professional real estate transactions possible. Our focus is our client’s interests so when you hire us, we represent you and we will conduct ourselves accordingly. We believe that our business will continue to grow simply because our clients appreciate our professional focus on the key aspects of ensuring they experience a successful real estate transaction. Put another way, you will not see SML team sending out recipe cards for mango salsa or honey poppy seed loaf and we will not be stopping by with a gift of a bottle of mustard that has a slogan such as “pick an agent that really cuts the mustard” in an effort to earn your business. Instead, what you will see from us is: · SML knowledge: A strong understanding of Smith Mountain Lake which goes well beyond its real estate market and includes important items such as shoreline management guidelines and dock building regulations. · Open access to information: Whether you are a buyer or a seller, understanding the Smith Mountain Lake real estate market is very important. We provide open access to all Smith Mountain Lake MLS listings. Most other agents filter you through some subset of listings which they prefer to sell or prefer you to see. · Integrity and trust: An understanding that when we are hired by you, we represent you in the transaction. We take your interests extremely seriously. We will not share information which you share with us with anyone including other agents on the opposing side of the transaction without your permission. · Professional negotiation skills: A real negotiation strategy to ensure that you receive top dollar if you are selling and the lowest price possible if you are buying. Both David and Steve have taken negotiation skills courses and have actively conducted business negotiations for Fortune 500 companies throughout their careers. · Quality: We pride ourselves in quality. For example, when we list a property for a client, we will produce a multi-page sales brochure for the property that is second to that of no other firm at the lake. · Responsiveness and follow through with a focus on the details: We will work hard to ensure nothing falls through the cracks which could create a costly or burdensome situation. We return every call, we answer every e-mail. EVERY. · Listening Skills: We will listen to your input and wishes and will discuss them with you. We will provide our opinions and advice, but we understand that our clients make the final decisions. |
